To create my jewelry, I use both electric and acoustic guitar strings in combination with various beads and findings that pair well with the strings. I use compound snips to cut the strings to a standard size, weave them through the beads to create a braided look or to hold the strings in a more uniform, sleek design. I then apply the hook and eye clasps. I then bend the strings using barrel-end pliers to create a nice, smooth bend in the bracelet. My goal is to create jewelry that is beautiful, and coincidentally made from guitar strings, adding a fun twist to each piece.
