I am Kate from KD Custom Boutique I started my company 6 years ago and have been creating hand dyed and hand designed family apparel ever since. I create unique patterns and decals and turn them into finished apparel, I focus a lot on family matching sets sizing from 6months up to 4xl. I create hand dyed sweatshirts/shirts utilizing methods such as spray dye, ice dye(snow in winter), soak dyes, traditional tie dyes, bleaching methods hand dying each piece myself so each dyed item is individually unique. I hand design all decals and patterns I utilize in my canva software. It takes me anywhere from a few days to a month to create and settle/finish a particular design and I play and layer and change color saturations and add/edit details until I feel its perfect ( i included a pdf attachment showing my process of a how an inspo/vision started with a pink flamingo and what it ended up as.) I have never ever ever purchased a design on etsy or hired a designer or utilized any outside source to help develop any element of my creative process with my designs. They all truly come from me, that’s why you will never see one of my designs for sale from any other local business as you see with some others. I strive to be different, unique and thats why I feel I have such a great following because you can only purchase my designed apparel from my company which I think makes it special.
